About Raw Psychology Clinic

Tania Attley - Director & Principal Psychologist

With over 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, Tania brings a holistic, integrative approach to mental health. She has a deep passion for understanding how trauma (developmental, complex, and PTSD) influences neurobiology, behavior, and personality, while also exploring the vital connections between nutrition, movement, hormones, and mental well-being.

Tania believes that mental health cannot be treated in isolation; growth happens when we view the whole person, including physical health, lifestyle, and emotional resilience.

She has a unique focus on supporting adult women navigating:

  •  Neurodiversity & ADHD
  • Birth Trauma & Perinatal Wellbeing
  • Hormonal-Related Disorders (PMDD, PMS, Endometriosis, Autoimmune Conditions)
  • C-PTSD, Developmental Trauma, OCD, Depression & Anxiety
  • Self-Development, Self-Esteem & Eating Disorders

Operating from a client-centered, recovery-oriented framework, Tania fosters empowerment, capacity-building, and hope. She is deeply invested in hearing each client’s unique story and worldview, ensuring therapy is a safe, supportive, and personalized space for growth and healing.

She integrates a range of evidence-based approaches, including:

  • Schema Therapy, Parts Work & EMDR
  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills
  • Breathwork, Mindfulness, Relaxation & Psychoeducation

Beyond clinical work, Tania provides clinical supervision and professional coaching for mental health professionals.

In her spare time, you’ll find Tania embracing the beautiful chaos of motherhood (raising two little ones!), recharging by the beach, practicing yoga and Pilates, or indulging in creativity, reading, and a little retail therapy.

Her mission? To create a space where therapy is holistic, compassionate, and deeply transformative.

Tania's books are currently closed until the end of the year.

Heather Fox - Registered Psychologist

Heather brings a warm, grounded, and deeply relational approach to her therapeutic work. She believes therapy is most powerful when it feels like a safe, collaborative space to explore, understand, and transform.

Her style is rooted in authenticity, curiosity, and respect, and she values building a genuine therapeutic relationship where clients feel comfortable being fully themselves.

Heather works with adults experiencing a wide range of concerns including:

  • trauma
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • identity and self-esteem challenges,
  • relationship issues.

She has a particular interest in

  • Neurodivergence -  including those navigating late diagnosis and partners of those navigating ADHD.
  • Perinatal mental health for both women and men through fertility journeys, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, identity shifts, and the often complex emotional landscape of early parenthood.
  • lived experience with PMDD, which informs her compassionate, attuned, and non-judgemental approach to supporting clients managing hormonal mood sensitivity or cyclical emotional patterns.

Working within a schema-informed, medium- to long-term psychodynamic framework, Heather values the courage it takes to sit with what’s real, untangle long-standing patterns, and create new, meaningful ways of relating to oneself and others.

She aims to meet clients where they are with warmth, humour, and humanity and to walk alongside them as they develop insight, reconnect with their needs, and move toward a more authentic and aligned version of themselves.

Outside the therapy room, Heather enjoys spending time with her partner and two young children, exploring the outdoors on the Central Coast, and unwinding with a good series. She brings this understanding of real, imperfect, everyday life into her practice, offering a space where people can show up exactly as they are.

Heather is in-clinic with us on Thursdays and is available for telehealth referrals.
